  1. Goodbye!

    That's all for now.

Johanna Konta will be back in action for her first Grand Slam quarter-final since Wimbledon in 2017. The women's quarter-finals take place on Tuesday and Wednesday.

If you missed any of her win against Donna Vekic, or you just want to relive it because it was so great, you can read the report here.

Bob McFeil: Brilliant stuff Jo Konta! Go all the way to the end!

Joel Newnham: Konta faces the winner of Stephens v Muguruza. Should she be worried? Or should they?

Alex Haworth: That was a great performance from Konta. I didn't think she'd win today.

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

There was a lot more pressure that she has faced previously in the French Open, but Johanna Konta faced it down effortlessly. Looking at that match, there is no reason why she can't win against either Garbine Muguruza or Sloane Stephens in the next round.

There are not many vulnerabilities to Konta's game on the clay - perhaps her movement slightly - but I think she can go all the way.

  4. Post update

Konta will face either 2016 winner Garbine Muguruza or 2018 finalist Sloane Stephens in the quarter-final. So it definitely won't be an easy ride...

  5. Post update

    *Federer 2-1 Mayer

    Roger Federer

Roger Federer is up and rolling on Court Philippe Chatrier.

The third seed, whose sole French Open title came in 2009, is 2-1 up with a break of serve already bagged against Leonardo Mayer.

  6. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

It is was an outstanding performance. Her tactical execution was pretty much perfect throughout. She was so complete and so together.

  7. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

Konta also made a deal with Bartoli to say a few words in French if she wins the quarter-final. She seemed a bit reluctant, but it's hard to turn that down in front of hundreds of French fans...

  8. Post update

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

I don't think Konta has stopped smiling yet as she steps up for an on-court interview with Marion Bartoli.

"To be able to win a match likes this against a really tough opponent is great," she said.

"I felt I played well throughout the match. I feel great. To win in front of a crowd like this gives you goosebumps.

"Donna and I have had a number of great battles. I lost the last two times we played. This was the first time on clay. I knew I had the game to beat her but she also has the game to beat me. I tried to do the best I could and enjoy being out here and playing against a great player."

    Russell Fuller

BBC tennis correspondent at Roland Garros

Johanna Konta holds to love when the chips were down! Another supreme performance!

  10. Konta through to quarter-finals

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

Konta has a huge smile on her face as she thanks the crowd on Suzanne Lenglen.

  11. Game, set and match Konta

    Konta 6-2 6-4 Vekic

    But Konta only needs one!

Vekic hits the ball long again and Konta is in the French Open quarter-finals for the first time.

  12. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-4 Vekic

Vekic hits the ball long. Three match points.

  13. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-4 Vekic

Smart play at the net from Konta. Another drop shot gets Vekic on the run and Konta taps the ball into the open court.

She follows it up with an ace to go 30-0 up. Konta is looking so composed.

  14. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-4 Vekic

Konta hops from foot to foot as she psyches herself up for this game. It's a pretty big one...

  15. Salisbury loses first set in doubles

    *Salisbury/Ram 3-6 2-0 Kontinen/Peers

Quick update from the men's doubles on court one - Britain's Joe Salisbury and American partner Rajeev Ram have lost the first set 6-3 against Henri Kontinen and John Peers.

But the 11th seeds are a break up early in the second set so maybe a fightback is on.

  16. Post update

    Konta* 6-2 5-4 Vekic

A reminder that before this year, Konta had never won a main-draw match at Roland Garros.

Now she's serving for a place in the last eight.

  17. Konta breaks

    Konta* 6-2 5-4 Vekic

Vekic saves the first two break points, but Konta puts in a brilliant drop shot to win the third.

The Brit will serve for a place in the quarter-finals.

  18. Post update

    Konta 6-2 4-4 Vekic*

    Naomi Cavaday

BBC Radio 5 live tennis commentator at Roland Garros

I think that was just a bit of a loose service game from Johanna Konta, a flurry of errors, perhaps forced by her eagerness to get the job done and get back in the locker room.

  19. Post update

    Konta 6-2 4-4 Vekic*

Vekic hits a backhand wide and Konta has three break points.

The Croat takes a moment as she lifts her hand to her forehead and takes a deep breath.

  20. Post update

    Konta 6-2 4-4 Vekic*

Konta seems a bit more comfortable when her back's against the wall. She comes out fighting again and immediately goes 30-0 up on Vekic's serve.
