  5. 'I am super happy'

    Berrettini 6-7 (6-8) 4-6 1-6 Nadal

Rafael Nadal: "The first set was a little bit frustrating, because I had a lot of break points before the tie-break and you don't want to be in a tie-break against a player like Matteo.

"I survived and then I think I finally had a break, and after that the match completely changed, I started to play more aggressive and I am super happy to be back in the final of the US Open.

"I just tried to stay focused on the next point in the tie-break. If you are able to keep winning the next two points, the pressure stays on his side. Sometimes it works and sometimes not. Today I was lucky to win that first set.

"Matteo is young, he has everything, he will become a great player. He has a great future in front of him."

Chuks CK: Nadal serving stat is crazy. Seems he offers one return point for every break point he brings up. And this guy is supposed to be 33?
