    Many thought he might never play competitive tennis again five months ago. But here he is.

    So that's all from Queen's this year, but fear not! It's just the beginning of a wonderful summer of tennis.

    Next on the agenda is Eastbourne, featuring British number ones Johanna Konta and Kyle Edmund and, of course, Andy Murray in the doubles.

    Lopez added:

    "This happens only once in a lifetime to win here at singles and doubles.

    "I'm so happy to have this man playing with me. We're so happy that you're back on a tennis court.

    "I don't know if I'm at Eastbourne next week. I'm in the draw but I might need a bit of rest. We'll decide tonight with a good glass of wine."

    Murray said on court after collecting his trophy:

    "He [Lopez] was brilliant. There's nothing else to say. It was an amazing win today in the singles and even at the end of the match there he came up with some brilliant returns and serves.

    "I really enjoyed it. I felt very relaxed at the beginning of the week and was getting more nervous as the week went on and my competitive instincts kicked in.

    "My hip felt great, no pain. I'll try to keep progressing from here but I'm just happy being back on the court."

    It's an incredible achievement for Feliciano Lopez too, who won the singles title earlier today.

    He had hip surgery in January and has been away from competitive tennis since then. He came back to play doubles here and now he's won the title! Absolutely incredible.

    The ball ping pongs back and forth at the net but Ram eventually gets round Murray with a forehand. Four championship points left.

    Can Lopez miss?! Ram serves what should have been an ace but Lopez gets round it and hits a forehand winner. The Spaniard leaps into the air as the umpire calls it in. Five championship points!

    Lopez serves and volleys, tapping the ball past Ram. You wouldn't guess he'd been on court for almost FIVE HOURS today. 7-4.

    Feliciano Lopez, you are a hero. And he knows it. He roars as he leaps across the net to slam down a volley. 8-4. Two points from victory. Two points from a fairytale return for Andy Murray.

    The Spaniard follows that up with an ace to get to 6-4.
