  1. Bye!

So that's all from Andy Murray's quite short-lived appearance at Eastbourne. Don't worry, he'll be back in action at Wimbledon with France's Pierre-Hugues Herbert. The tournament starts on 1 July.

In the meantime, you can read the report from his Eastbourne match here.

We'll have coverage of the women's tournament at Eastbourne on BBC Two and the BBC Sport website and app from 13:00 BST on Wednesday. There's also coverage of Wimbledon qualifying on connected TVs and the BBC Sport website and app from 11:00 BST.

  2. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 6-4 Melo/Murray

Cabal and Farah face a British challenge in the next round, too.

Dan Evans and Lloyd Glasspool are their next opponents.

  3. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 6-4 Melo/Murray

Melo and Murray only won 17% of points on their second serve. That was where the match was won and lost really.

  4. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 6-4 Melo/Murray

The crowd still gives Murray a big cheer as he packs up his things and prepares to leave the court.

He signs a couple of autographs before heading down the tunnel.

  5. Game, set and match Cabal and Farah

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 6-4 Melo/Murray

Well. The Murray/Melo partnership didn't last long.

Melo's return goes into the net and the top seeds win in straight sets.

  6. Post update

    Cabal/Farah* 6-2 5-4 Melo/Murray

"Come on!" shouts Murray as he hits a forehand past Farah. 0-15.

The Brit does well to get on the end of Farah's serve, but Cabal smashes his shot back at him. 15-15.

Melo's backhand return lands long, then Murray screams in frustration as his forehand goes into the net. Three match points.

  7. Post update

    Cabal/Farah* 6-2 5-4 Melo/Murray

Murray goes for the old falling-over-sideways-while-hitting-a-volley trick again and it works.

Melo smashes the ball at Cabal's feet, then Murray pops up like a jack-in-the-box for a winning volley.

Cabal's return doesn't get over the net, then Melo hits a forehand out of the Colombian's reach to hold.

  8. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 5-3 *Melo/Murray

Melo's return goes into the net and Cabal holds. One game from victory.

  9. Post update

    *Cabal/Farah 6-2 4-3 Melo/Murray

Murray hits a sublime backhand return and he LOVES it. That one got two fist pumps and two "come on"s in celebration.

He hits two brilliant forehands, too, but Cabal isn't intimidated and hits a cross-court winner.

  10. Post update

    *Cabal/Farah 6-2 4-3 Melo/Murray

Whoever wins today will face Brits Dan Evans and Lloyd Glasspool in the quarter-finals.

  11. Post update

    *Cabal/Farah 6-2 4-3 Melo/Murray

Murray double faults to make it 30-30. This match has a whole different feel to his games at Queen's. Both he and the crowd are more subdued.

He wakes everyone up a bit with an ace then runs forward for a pick up to hold.

  12. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 4-2 Melo/Murray*

Melo hits a forehand into the net and it's an easy hold for Cabal and Farah.

  13. Post update

    Cabal/Farah* 6-2 3-2 Melo/Murray

Melo isn't giving up on this match yet.

He races to a 40-0 lead on his serve, but then he and Murray get caught out at the net and it's 40-15.

The Brazilian won't let that happen again, though, and comes forward for a winning volley to hold.

Now they just need to get the break back...

  14. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 3-1 *Melo/Murray

Farah is ready for Murray's return at the net and the Colombians hold.

  15. Post update

    *Cabal/Farah 6-2 2-1 Melo/Murray

Not sure the Melo/Murray partnership is a lifelong one.

Luckily, the Brit is down to play with Frenchman Pierre-Hugues Herbert at Wimbledon.

Murray gives the crowd something to cheer with a brilliant angled return, then Cabal hits a forehand long. 40-30.

  16. Cabal and Farah break

    *Cabal/Farah 6-2 2-1 Melo/Murray

Murray tries to serve and volley but it doesn't make it over the net.

It's a long way back from here.

  17. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 1-1 Melo/Murray*

Murray double faults and hits a forehand into the net to give the Colombians four break points.

This is a very different story to Queen's.

  18. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 1-1 Melo/Murray*

Murray has a spectator looking very concerned as he sprints off the left side of the court and looks as if he might run into her. He stops just in time, but misses his shot.

A Cabal smash means Farah holds to love. The Colombians definitely look like they have the upper hand here.

  19. Post update

    Cabal/Farah* 6-2 0-1 Melo/Murray

Cabal looks very comfortable, hitting a ball backwards between his legs. But he must be forgetting a former world number one is on the opposite side of the net. Murray smashes the ball down to win the point.

Melo hits a speedy serve and the return goes long. Another solid serve and the Brazilian holds.

    Andy Murray
  20. Post update

    Cabal/Farah 6-2 Melo/Murray

Murray and Feliciano Lopez beat Farah and Cabal in straight sets at Queen's.

It's a very different story today though. Did somebody say revenge?
