Samantha Murray and Joe Evans won Britain's first medal of the European Modern Pentathlon Championships in Hungary by claiming mixed-relay silver.
The duo went into the run/shoot at Szekesfehervar with a 22-second advantage over Lithuanians Laura Asadauskaite and Justinas Kinderis.
But that lead was not enough as they missed out on gold by three seconds.
"It was a brilliant day and it was nice for us both to finish on a high note here," said Evans.
"We couldn't quite hold it on the combined event, but we're both really pleased with the medal."
