Stoke Potters were beaten 51-39 at Buxton on Sunday but remain at the top of the National League table.

The Potters, who defeated Hackney at Loomer Road on Saturday, suffered four falls at the Hi-Edge Raceway.

"We had a few unwarranted falls while in points-scoring positions and these cost us the match," said Stoke team manager Malcolm Vasey.

"We now turn our attentions to the play-offs and the National League Knockout Cup final."
