Stoner on 'best race of career'
- From the section MotoGP
Honda's Casey Stoner tells BBC Sport's Azi Farni his first victory at the Jerez circuit was his "greatest race" after overcoming problems with arm-pump and tyre degradation to hold off the challenge of Yamaha's Jorge Lorenzo.
Lorenzo was on Stoner's tail for much of the race but the Australian pulled clear over the final two laps, with the home favourite admitting Stoner was "too quick" for him during the closing stages.
Third-placed Dani Pedrosa reveals he was "too careful" in the opening stages of the race as the track gradually dried out, whilst Britain's Cal Crutchlow came home fourth, stating he is "really happy" considering he "doesn't like the track".
