Dominant Lorenzo wins French MotoGP

Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo wins a dramatic French MotoGP in wet conditions, while Italian Valentino Rossi wins a cat-and-mouse battle against Australia's Casey Stoner for second place.

The victory moves Lorenzo above Stoner at the top of the standings, and Rossi's runner-up spot is his second podium finish for Ducati with the other also coming at Le Mans last year.

Briton Cal Crutchlow had threatened a podium finish but a crash, with 10 laps to go, meant that he finished eighth.
