Pedrosa takes pole, Crutchlow third

Honda rider Dani Pedrosa takes pole position for Sunday's San Marino MotoGP in Misano, with Britain's Cal Crutchlow qualifying third.

Pedrosa, who has closed the gap to fellow Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo at the top of the drivers' championship to 13 points, managed to take the front spot on the grid, with Lorenzo starting alongside him in second.

Crutchlow held provisional pole towards the end of the session, but will be looking to claim another podium finish after his third place in Brno last month.
