Kent wins maiden Moto3 race

Danny Kent becomes the first British rider to win a Moto3 race following a dramatic finish in Japan.

The Red Bull KTM rider had taken his first-ever pole at the Twin Ring Motegi circuit and fought his way through to victory as his rivals crashed around him, including team-mate Sandro Cortese on the final lap.

Cortese remains at the top of the standings, 56 points ahead of second-placed Maverick Vinales with Kent in sixth.
