Berwick Bandits have called up Josh Grajczonek to their roster for Saturday's Premier League meeting with Rye House Rockets.
The 21-year-old Australian replaces Charlie Gjedde, who has returned to Denmark for the second round of the National Championship.
"It is unfortunate that Charlie has to miss this match, he's been ever-present in our line-up," said boss Ian Rae.
"Josh is riding really well for Glasgow this season, he'll not let us down."
Hynek Stichauer is also missing, although the Bandits have confirmed they will use rider replacement to cover for his absence rather than draft in cover.
