King's Lynn Stars have brought in Berwick Bandits rider Lee Complin as cover for the injured Morten Risager.

Great Britain international Complin, 26, will double-up with Lasse Bjerre at reserve with Sam Masters being moved up the order to partner Tomas Topinka.

The bulk of Tomlin's experience comes from outside of the Elite League, with Stoke Potters and Sheffield Tigers.

"Lee has always been a rider I have kept a close eye on," Stars boss Rob Lyon told the club website.

"And I think his all action style will suit the Elite League, it is great to have him on board.

"At the start of the season I didn't feel that Sam was ready to be in the main body of the team but after a few meetings into the new season it was clear that he had pushed on and will be able to handle the number two position without a problem."

Dane Risager is expected to be sidelined for at least another six weeks after undergoing surgery on a severed finger.

The Stars will end a 10-day period without action when they travel to Essex to face Lakeside Hammers on Saturday.
