Swindon Robins captain Simon Stead has hit out at his fellow riders following their heavy defeat by Poole in the Knockout Cup on Thursday.
The Robins were thrashed 62-28 in the first leg of their quarter-final tie at Blunsdon.
Stead told BBC Wiltshire: "It cut deep tonight and some people need to address themselves a little bit different and get passion back into their racing.
"That certainly wasn't entertaining and I am absolutely devastated."
Swindon were without key men Nicolai Klindt and Maciej Janowksi and their hopes of a semi-final spot are all but over with the second leg to come on Wednesday.
"We really need to sort ourselves out. Supporters are working hard to spend their money to come and watch us and be entertained," added Stead.
"Every time I go out I ride with passion and pride for this club, I love it.
"The only saving grace is this doesn't hurt our play-off chances but obviously we are going to go out of this competition, or it looks like we are going to go out of this competition."
