Michael Laverty secured third place in the second British Superbike Championship race at Knockhill in Scotland on Sunday.

The Swan Yamaha rider from Toomebridge was sixth in the opener while his brother John was 18th and 20th.

Michael stays fourth in the series and 77 points behind leader Shane Byrne.

Alastair Seeley from Carrickfergus was second in both Supersport races with Castlerock's Marty Nutt having two eighth-place finishes.

Seeley is second in the standings, 59 points adrift of Ben Wilson.

Tommy Hill won both Superbike races while Sam Warren and Wilson were the Supersport winners.

Keith Farmer from Clogher took his fourth consecutive victory in the National Superstock 600cc championship.

The 23-year-old led throughout the race and his winning margin was almost four seconds over fellow Northern Ireland rider Glenn Irwin.

Farmer leads the series by 48 points.
