Exeter racing driver Harry Tincknell has secured his debut victory in the British Formula Three Series, winning round 11 at Brands Hatch.
Having started on pole, the 19-year-old led the 20-lap race throughout, keeping his concentration after the safety car came on following a first-lap crash.
"It's an amazing feeling to have got my first win," said Tincknell.
"It was a tough race, but I'm delighted but I'm delighted to have made the most of my grid position."
He added: "This result is testament to the hard work that the Fortec Motorsports guys put in, as the first race pit-stop really helped put me on pole for race two.
"I can't wait to start charging up the standings when we take on some European circuits during the next part of the season," continued Tincknell, who is currently 10th overall in the Championship.
