Poole Pirates form delights manager Neil Middleditch


Poole Pirates boss Neil Middleditch says he is delighted by his side's performances this season.

Poole sit top of the Elite Leagueexternal-link having won nine of their 13 meetings this term.

"At the moment speedway at Poole is such high quality and the racing is absolutely top class," Middleditch told BBC Radio Solent.

"When we're all firing we're very dangerous, the boys are trying hard, so it's a real good spectacle to watch."

The Pirate boss continued: "Darcy Ward and Chris Holder are on fire at the moment and everybody is riding on the back of them.

"It pulls their game along and everybody is performing first class and long may it continue."

Pirates host Swindon Robins on Wednesday in the home-leg of the first round of the Knock Out Cup having thrashed them in the away fixture 62-28.
