Ipswich Witches have returned to a full complement of seven riders with the signing of Mathieu Tresarrieu.
The 25-year-old Frenchman had a spell with Premier League rivals Leicester earlier in the season, where he scored 35 points across five meetings.
The former Redcar rider also has Elite League experience from his time with Peterborough in the last campaign.
He will cover the injured Chris Schramm, who is expected to miss the rest of the season with a back injury.
The Witches have also received good news on Morten Risager's recovery.
The Dane has not ridden in England after almost severing his finger in early May, but could return for Friday's Knock Out Cup second leg at Scunthorpe.
Lasse Bjerre is also hopeful of making the fixture after receiving treatment on his injured knee in Denmark.
