Stoke Potters retained top spot in the National League despite going down 49-43 against Mildenhall on Sunday.

The Potters' number one rider Simon Lambert scored an impressive 21-point maximum to give them a point.

Potters team manager Malcolm Vasey said: "That was a very hard and deserved point for us, the lads said they wanted to remain top of the table and were determined to do so."

The Potters are next in action at King's Lynn on Wednesday night.
