Dudley Heathens rider Kyle Newman has been released from hospital following an accident during Thursday's National League meeting on the Isle of Wight.
Newman, 19, crashed during heat 13 of the Heathens' 42-33 defeat as their bid to reach the play-offs all but ended.
X-rays showed Newman had not broken any bones and he was allowed home in the early hours of Friday.
"This news is a relief to us all, the crash was awful," said Heathens' chairman Nigel Pearson.
"It came about because Kyle was giving it his all. He was brilliant for us both on the track and in the pits with the rest of the guys.
"It's important for him to rest up at home."
The Heathens complete their league season with a home meeting against King's Lynn on Tuesday, 6 September.
