The Plymouth Devils' woes on their travels continued as they lost 58-35 at Ipswich in the Premier League.
But they forged a spirited fight-back after being 44-19 down after ten heats.
Plymouth captain Ben Barker top-scored with 15 points, including three wins, but the only other Devil to win a heat was Ricky Wells.
The Devils will name an unchanged side as they host Workington at St Boniface Arena on Friday night with Kyle Hughes riding for new signing Travis McGowan.
Australian McGowan is still waiting for his international clearance to come through.
