Ryan Farquhar secures nine wins at Scarborough races

Ryan Farquhar ended his road racing season on a high by winning nine races at the Scarborough Gold Cup meeting.
Farquhar won the feature race, both Superbike events, a Superbike heat, the two Supertwins races, both Supersport 600cc legs and a 600cc heat.
John McGuinness was runner-up in the main Gold Cup event, with Ian Lougher third and Michael Dunlop fourth.
William Dunlop won one of the two 250cc races and a 600 heat, while Michael Dunlop won Superbike heat one.
The first Superbike leg of the weekend saw Kawasaki rider Farquhar come home ahead of McGuinness and Michael Dunlop.
The same three riders completed the podium in the same order in the second event.
William Dunlop finished second behind Farquhar in Supersport leg one, with Michael Dunlop runner-up in leg two.
William got the better of veteran Chris Palmer in the opening 250 race, but Seamus Elliott took the flag ahead of Dunlop in the second race.
