King's Lynn Stars will retain the services of club asset Kozza Smith for the 2012 Elite League campaign.
The 27-year-old Australian will share his rides with Premier League outfit Berwick Bandits.
"Kozza's very popular with the fans and an asset of the club so it made sense to bring him back," team manager Rob Lyon told BBC Radio Norfolk.
"I'm sure he'll prove to be a trump card for us and a match-winner on more than a few occasions."
Smith was drafted into the Stars late on last season and competed in three top-flight meetings before missing out on the play-offs with a dislocated shoulder.
He averaged four points a meeting for the Norfolk team in 2011 and will double-up at reserve next year.
