Jimmy Storrar has confirmed he will make his debut the Isle of Man TT races in 2012.
The Scottish racer is currently going through the TT newcomers programme on the island.
He said: "I've spent time with Milky Quayle and Johnny Barton out on the course and they've given me some really good insights.
The 25-year-old will compete for Mick Charnock's 'TC Racing Honda/DP Coldplaning' outfit.
The Perth-born racer had planned to compete on the Isle of Man in 2011 before suffering an untimely hand injury in testing at Donington Park.
"It was really frustrating to miss out last year, especially as my injury was so close to the event but it has only made me even more fired up for the TT this year," he said.
The Scot finished eighth in the 2011 BSB Superstock Championship and recorded a 7th place finish in Macau.
