Andy Priaulx suffered 'weekend to forget' in DTM
Andy Priaulx had a difficult second race in the German DTM championship as he finished 19th at the Lausitzring.
Guernsey's three-time World Touring Car champion was 13th on the grid but had a bad start and failed to recover.
"This is a weekend I want to forget. For me the performance wasn't there so I need to find out what is going on," said BMW driver Priaulx after the race.
"I was unlucky at the start and got a bit boxed in, but from then on I never went forward."
But Priaulx could take one positive out of the race, in that fellow BMW driver Bruno Spengler won the race, while team-mate Augusto Farfus was third.
BMW returned to DTM racing this season after two decades out of the sport.
"I have to look at the positives and that includes Augusto, coming third," added Priaulx.
"Well done to him and well done to BMW Motorsport for a fantastic podium on its return to the DTM after a 20-year absence.
"I think we have surprised a lot of people with the strength of the car."
