Jersey driver James Walker has admitted he is feeling the nerves ahead of his first appearance at the Le Mans 24 Hour race.
He will be behind the wheel of the JMW Motorsport Ferrari 458 with team-mates Jonny Cocker and Roger Wills.
"The nerves are starting to build a little bit," he told BBC Radio Jersey. "The next couple of days are going to be exciting. I can't wait for the race.
"There's a lot of time to spend watching the guys work on the car."
Walker secured his spot after coming second overall in his class in the 2011 Le Mans Series alongside Rob Bell.
"Everyone all over the world knows what Le Mans 24 Hour race is," said the 28-year-old.
"Just over a quarter of a million people will be here for the race and that shows how big a deal it is.
"I've already had so many people saying they're coming from Jersey and will be waving the Jersey flag so I'm going to try and put on a good performance for them."
