Jersey's James Walker forced to retire at Le Mans

James Walker celebrates

Jersey driver James Walker was forced to retire from the Le Mans 24 hour race after 204 laps because of a problem with his car's driveshaft.

Walker, who was at the wheel at the time, was racing with British teammates Jonny Cocker and Roger Wills.

The team were lying seventh in the GTe Pro Class of the event before they had to retire their Ferrari 458 on the Mulsanne straight.

Their next race is at July's European Le Mans Series meeting at Donington.
