Andy Priaulx's poor form in the 2013 DTM Championship continued as he finished last in the fourth race of the season at the Lausitzring.
Priaulx was given a drive-through penalty for jumping the start of the race and was never able to catch up.
The 39-year-old then collided with BMW teammate Martin Tomczyk on lap 11.
"I have to accept the jump start drive through, but this really set the tone for the rest of my race as I was then on the back foot," Priaulx said.

And he now plans to discuss the latest incident with Tomczyk as he continues to try and find answers as to why he is not performing better.
"I did not know he was there and the first time I realised he was so close was when he hit me.
"The last thing you want to do is collide with your teammate. I get on very well with Martin and we will now sit down in private and discuss this," he said.
"As for my performance, I am at a loss to understand what is happening and why my pace was not better.
"Perhaps when we have been able to sit down and study the data, I may be able to come up with some answers."
The race was won by Mercedes driver Gary Paffett, with Championship leader Mike Rockenfeller in second place.
The next round takes place at the Norisring on 7 July when Priaulx will hope to make a better showing.
