Dungannon driver Kris Meeke has ended day two of Wales Rally GB in third place in his Citroen DS3.
Sebastien Ogier, already crowned world champion, leads by 58.1 seconds from closest challenger, Finn Mikko Hirvonen.
Northern Ireland man Meeke was involved in a tense contest for second with Hirvonen and Norway's Mads Ostberg.
Hirvonen won the battle heading into Sunday in his Ford Fiesta RS, and holds a 3.4secs lead over Meeke.
Meeke began the final round of the World Rally Championship in seventh place overall on 82 points.
He has finished third in previous rounds of the series in France, Monte Carlo, Argentina and Finland.
Meeke hopes that his performances this season prove enough for him to retain the Citroen drive for 2015.
