Two-times British Touring Car Championship winner Colin Turkington will drive for the BMR team this year.
Joining the 32-year-old Northern Ireland man in the Volkswagen line-up will be the experienced Jason Plato, another two-times BTCC title winner.
Reigning champion Turkington was forced to seek a new team after parting company with West Surrey Racing.
Turkington won last year's British title with WSR, but split with them when the team lost its main sponsor.
Team BMR is based in Hertfordshire and 2015 will be its second BTCC season.
"I am delighted and relieved to be back on the grid and to be able to defend the title I worked so hard for last season," said Turkington, from Portadown.
"It felt like it was time for an exciting new challenge and all the ingredients are in place with the Volkswagen team for a successful year.
"Jason has been my arch rival for the past few years but we will both bring a lot of experience and hopefully drive forward the performance of the car pretty quickly.
"2015 will probably be about building the foundations for a good crack at the title the following year."
He won his first British Championship in 2009 driving for Team RAC.
Oxford man Plato, 47, won his titles in 2001 and 2010, and finished runner-up to Turkington last season.
