Leon Haslam is confident there is still room for improvement after a podium finish in the eighth round of the World Superbike Championship.
The Red Devils Aprilia rider finished fifth and third respectively in Sunday's two races at Misano, Italy, and lies third in the standings.
Haslam, 32, said: "I'm pleased with the results. A podium in front of Italian fans is always a nice feeling.
"In hotter races like Malaysia and the USA, we'll be able to do well."
Haslam, from Derbyshire, has 226 points - 16 points behind Tom Sykes and 149 behind runaway leader Jonathan Rea.
The Championship takes a four-week break before the next round at Laguna Seca, USA on 19 July.
