Edinburgh beat Glasgow in the British Premier League Cup final last month

Edinburgh Monarchs overturned a seven-point deficit against Glasgow Tigers in the second leg of speedway's Premier League Championship final to retain their title.

The Tigers had led courtesy of a 48-41 home win in the first leg at Ashfield on Friday evening.

But Glasgow succumbed to the defending champions 58-32 at Armadale a day later.

The decisive victory handed the Monarchs a 99-90 aggregate triumph.
