Dean Harrison has signed a two-year deal with the Silicone Engineering Racing team.
The Bradford racer will represent the team at the TT, as well as other international road races and selected BSB meetings.
Harrison, who won his first TT race in 2014, said he "jumped at the opportunity to join the team".
The 26-year-old made history in 2014 when he won a TT race in the same year as his father, sidecar racer Condrad.
Team manager Paul Iddon said the team were delighted to have Dean come on board for the next two years.
He said: "It is a massive opportunity to take the step to another level and push the team to new heights."
Harrison added: "As soon as I met Paul and the rest of the team and saw the set-up - from the bike preparation to the calibre of the other riders and their knowledge, I knew it was a great opportunity to join a team on the up."
