Leon Haslam says taking the lead in the British Superbike standings after two podium finishes at Brands Hatch has set him up for the rest of the season.
The 32-year-old JG Speedfit Kawasaki rider won the first race on Sunday and then came third in the second.
Haslam, from Smalley, Derbyshire, has 93 points after three rounds and leads the championship by three points from Shane Byrne.
"The bike felt really good in both races," Haslam said on his website.
"To walk away with two trophies and the series lead is brilliant and sets us up for the rest of the season."
Multiple World and British Superbikes race-winner Haslam was British SB runner-up in 2006 and 2008 and second in the 2010 World SB series.
He returned to British Superbike racing this season.
