@133The triple crown was achieved by Graham Hill it has nothing to do with Montoya 😂 I now apologise to the Hill family for mentioning the legend Graham Hill in the same sentence as the calorie munching Juan Pablo
The 'Triple Crown" is not a thing, Never has been a thing and NEVER will be a thing. It has been made up by a driver (Montoya I believe) as he realised he was never going to win a WDC in F1. As soon as Fernando realised he would never win another he jumped on the band wagon for this false title. How many times do the BBC and Sky Sports News have to bring it up??
@ 112. F1Knowledge Your handle misrepresents you
fernando alonso gave schumaker a real good fight! schumacher have it his all but alonso was just too smooth..irvine talks too much yet he never was on pole...if he was half as fast as he claimed he was he should’ve been on pole at least half a dozen times..
Eddie Irvine get you tounge out of Schumacher's bottom.

That's ok for road tracks, but the Indy and F1 share a couple of similarities (being open wheelers).Surely one of the two should be replaced with something different - Paris-Dakar Rally?
Has anyone seen the film 'Idiocracy'? I don't know why but whenever I read sone if the comments on here, I am reminded of it!
Off topic I know, but Irvine's comments are quite sad. He was a decent, quick driver, but has clearly lost his perspective over the years.
18. Posted by Nico Rosberg hahah salty hamilton fans are out again. so sad they have to constantly reference hamilton __You mean the ONE such post at that point ?
Congratulations to van der Zande, Kobayashi, Taylor and Alonso.Sad that there was no HYS to address the dreadful, petty, self-serving comments of the distinctly second-rate Irvine. Not a hint of editorial balance, the BBC should be ashamed to print those articles without commentary.
@121 JdlovinfF1He must be frustrated knowing that he had a car good enough to win a title but failed miserably to deliver. The guys a joke, judging by his comments it sounds like he’s been chatting to jacques villeneuve😂
The highlight of Irvine's career was when Senna punched him in the face.
Yes I think the BBC took the decision not to open a HYS on the Irvine articles because they knew they would be bombarded with negative comments, not sure why he thinks he has the right to put down any driver given the miserable failure he was..Congratulations to Fernando and his team mates not forgetting VB and his team. Not long to wait now.
