Jersey's Team Jets beat Devon side Carol Anne 45-21 to extend their unbeaten run in netball's South West Division Two.
The island side have won their opening six matches of the new season.
Jets coach Linda Andrews told BBC Radio Jersey: "We were out of the block so quickly, I think it hit them by surprise.
"Our defence was totally awesome and the way they commanded that circle was just brilliant."
Next week, Team Jets face the only other unbeaten team in the division when they travel to the south-west to take on Cornwall Saints.
