Superleague 2015: Celtic Dragons secure first victory of season

Celtic Dragons claimed their first victory of the 2015 Superleague campaign by beating Loughborough Lightning 53-52 on Monday.

The teams were level with 20 seconds to go but a late Chelsea Lewis goal sealed a dramatic win for the Welsh club.

The Dragons moved off the bottom of the table on goal difference, with Team Northumbria replacing them after their 58-49 defeat by Yorkshire Jets.

Elsewhere, Manchester Thunder and Surrey Storm were both victorious.

Leaders Thunder kept up their unbeaten record with a 56-43 win over Hertfordshire Mavericks, while Storm thrashed Team Bath 61-39 to move back into second place.
