Team Jets head coach Linda Andrews says they may have to raise their expectations for the season after a nervy 40-39 victory over Worcester.
The Jersey side gave away a six-goal lead but a late goal gave them a fourth successive Premier League Two win.
"We were in cruise control but all credit to them because they put immense pressure on," Andrews told BBC Jersey.
"It's getting a bit scary now - we were looking for consolidation but we might have to change our plans."
The result brings the Jets closer to the final play-off place, extending their unbeaten run to six games.
With two promotions in the last two seasons, there have been some doubts about whether Andrews' side could sustain another promotion.
"They're big girls so it's difficult to get around them sometimes, but that's the physicality that we've had to get used to in the course of this league," added Andrews.
