Manchester Thunder have won eight out of nine matches in this year's Superleague

Manchester Thunder opened up a three-point lead at the top of the Netball Superleague by beating Celtic Dragons.

Thunder withstood a final-quarter rally from the Dragons on Saturday to win 54-51 and record their eighth win.

Elsewhere, Yorkshire Jets are still searching for a first win of the season after a 67-37 defeat by Team Bath.

Surrey Storm's 58-45 win at Team Northumbria at the start of the round leaves them three points behind second-placed Hertfordshire Mavericks.

The Dragons missed a chance to bounce back from their defeat to the Thunder on Monday as Loughborough beat them 51-48 in the opening fixture of round 10.

The Mavericks were without a game this week and face Loughborough Lightning and Northumbria within 72 hours over Easter weekend.
