Tyrone maintained their late push for promotion to Division 1 of the Allianz Football League as they defeated a hugely disappointing Kildare.
Five Martin Penrose points helped the Red Hands lead 0-9 to 0-3 by half-time at Dungannon.
Mark Donnelly's three second-half points helped Tyrone increase their advantage as Mickey Harte introduced Brian Dooher and Philip Jordan.
The Lilywhites went 43 minutes without a score for a period in the contest.
Donnelly was a late inclusion in the Red Hand line-up in place of Stephen O'Neill.
The word from the Tyrone camp was that the management felt playing the injury-prone O'Neill on the tight O'Neill Park pitch might have represented a risk with championship looming in the coming months.
The match had been switched from Healy Park on Saturday night following the murder in Omagh of police officer Ronan Kerr - a member of the Beragh GAA club - and there was a minute's silence before the throw-in in his memory.
Two Penrose points and a Brian McGuigan score helped Tyrone take an early three-point lead before John Doyle opened Kildare's account from a free.
Further Doyle and Ronan Sweeney points cut Tyrone's advantage to 0-4 to 0-3 but Penrose (two), McGuigan, Kevin Hughes and Colm Cavanagh responded with unanswered Red Hand points before the break.
The 0-9 to 0-3 half-time advantage was pushed out to a 10-point lead as Kildare offered no resistance.
John Doyle ended Kildare's 43-minute scoring drought with a free and quickly added another point but it had been a dismal display by Kieran McGeeney's side.
