Tyrone could be without Joe McMahon for the Ulster SFC opener against Monaghan after he sustained a broken jaw in a weekend club match.

The versatile McMahon sustained a double fracture while playing for Omagh against Moortown.

Reds Hands midfielder Enda McGinley could also miss the Monaghan game on 5 June.

The Errigal Ciaran clubman was stretchered off in the league victory over Cookstown.

Tyrone GAA are to launch an investigation after McMahon sustained a broken jaw and lost teeth during the incident in the weekend club game.

Philip Jordan didn't finish Moy's game against Trillick after suffering a suspected recurrence of a groin injury.

Jordan has been missing from Tyrone training in recent weeks although manager Mickey Harte has insisted that the defender remains part of the Red Hand squad.
