Tyrone v Roscommon

Tyrone manager Mickey Harte has named an unchanged team for Saturday's All-Ireland qualifier against Roscommon.

Attacker Stephen O'Neill misses out for the third successive game because of injury, with midfielder Aidan Cassidy still sidelined by a hamstring problem.

Sean O'Neill, who made his first Championship start in the win over Armagh, retains his place at wing back.

Tyrone are favourites to go through to play Dublin, but Sean Cavanagh insists they cannot take any teams lightly.

Victory on Saturday would put Michey Harte's Red Hands through to a quarter-final meeting with Dublin.

But experienced four-times All Star winner Cavanagh cautioned: "Division Three and Four teams are much stronger now. The gap has narrowed.

"In 2004 we were supposed to be looking forward to a semi-final with Fermanagh but got knocked out by Mayo."

Cavanagh said the fact that Tyrone lost to Donegal in the Ulster Championship might have given them additional and valuable game time through the 'back door' qualifiers.

"Inside the squad we were thinking it was maybe a blessing in disguise because a lot of guys missed league games and the qualifiers mould your team," added Cavanagh.

He also responded to stories about Owen Mulligan and Niall McKenna being uphappy about not being left out of Mickey Harte's team.

Cavanagh said Tyrone had a huge panel and some quality players would always miss out.

"Owen has come back and if Niall comes back he will be welcomed with open arms because the aim is to get to Croke Park in the third week in September."

After being beaten 2-6 to 0-9 by Donegal in the Ulster semi-finals, Tyrone saw off Longford and fierce neighbourly rivals Armagh in qualifiers to reach the last round.

Roscommon, who have not featured in an All-Ireland final for 31 years, are at this stage having been runners-up in the Connacht Championship.
