Tyrone were outclassed by an impressive Dublin side who booked their place against Donegal in the All-Ireland semi-finals with a seven-point win.

The Red Hands held their own in the early stages but the Dubs pulled away to lead 0-11 to 0-6 at the break.

Dublin scored four unanswered points at the start of the second half to extend their lead and went close to finding the net on several occasions.

Diarmuid Connolly top-scored with 0-7 and Bernard Brogan contributed 0-5.

Sean Cavanagh and Martin Penrose both accumulated 0-4 for Tyrone.

Mark Donnelly scored the first point of the match for Tyrone and then Pascal McConnell made a fine save from Bernard Brogan.

A Stephen Cluxton free levelled the scores but Cavanagh nudged Mickey Harte's side in front, before Connolly restored parity.

Dublin moved three points ahead before Cavanagh replied, but the Dubs pulled away to make it 0-9 to 0-3.

Donnelly and Peter Harte reduced their side's deficit to four points and the margin was the same at half-time.

Mickey Harte rang the changes at half-time, with Dermot Carlin, Enda McGinley, Stephen O'Neill and Brian Dooher all introduced, but Dublin retained their dominance.

Connolly, Denis Bastick and Paul Flynn got on the scoreboard as Dublin scored the first four points after the interval.

Flynn was wide with a goal attempt and Bernard Brogan was also off-target with his effort.

Brogan also hit the post while Tyrone were unable to show composure in front of goal.

O'Neill and Penrose were prolific as the sides traded points and O'Neill had a goal opportunity snuffed out.

Points from Bernard and Alan Brogan made it 0-22 to 0-12 but points from O'Neill, Sean Cavanagh and Enda McGinley gave the final score a more respectable look.
