Former Donegal manager Brian McIver and Paddy Tally have left the Down backroom team.
McIver, and coach Paddy Tally, will not be involved with the Mourne county next year after manager James McCartan revamped his backroom team.
Tally was coach at Tyrone when they won the All-Ireland Championship in 2003.
McCartan will be joined by Jerome Johnston and Aidan O'Rourke for the 2012 campaign, while Amy Davis will be the strength and conditioning coach.
McCartan and his team made an immediate impact by guiding Down to the All-Ireland final last year but they lost heavily to Cork in the 2011 qualifiers.
In this year's Ulster Championship, McCartan's men lost by five points to Armagh.
They got past Clare, Leitrim and Antrim in the qualifying series but lost 2-20 to 0-14 to Cork in the final round.
Ardboe man McIver guided Ballinderry to the All Ireland Club title in 2002 and served as Donegal senior county boss from 2006 to 2008.
