Cavan appoint John Morrison as new coach

John Morrison was coach of the Mayo team which reached the 2004 All-Ireland final

Cavan manager Val Andrews has brought in John Morrison as Breffni Blues coach for 2012.

The Armagh man's record includes posts with his home county, Antrim, Donegal, Derry, Mayo and Leitrim.

Morrison, who starting coaching in 1975, was in charge of Tyrone Division One club Eglish last year.

Cavan had a disappointing 2011 campaign in the league and championship at senior level although their minor and U21 teams were Ulster champions.
