Two Raymond Wilkinson goals helped Ballinderry land their 12th Derry SFC title as they held off Kilrea in a scrappy decider at Celtic Park.
Wilkinson's opening goal came after only 43 seconds with him being set up by Enda Muldoon.
Benny Quigg responded with a Kilrea point but Wilkinson's 21st-minute goal helped the Shamrocks lead 2-2 to 0-3 at half-time.
Both teams could only manage three points in the second half.
Kilrea's prospects of getting back into the contest weren't helped by a number of missed frees, with Conleth Gilligan's accuracy from placed balls a crucial element in Ballinderry's victory.
Prior to this season, Ballinderry's last Derry title came in 2008 and they were beaten by Coleraine in last year's decider.
Kilrea were playing in their first Derry Senior Football final.
