Crossmaglen full-back Paul Kernan will postpone his scheduled shoulder surgery until after the completion of his club's All-Ireland Football campaign.

Kernan dislocated his shoulder in the Ulster quarter-final win over St Gall's last month but was a surprise starter in Sunday's final victory over Burren.

The full-back was booked in for surgery but he has now opted to put the operation on-hold.

Kernan came through Sunday's game in Armagh unscathed.

Cross will face the winners of Sunday's Munster Final between Dr Crokes and UCC in the All-Ireland semi-final in February.
