Eric Bradley hit two goals as Wexford beat Cavan in the NFL Division 3 clash.
Bradley's first goal and a Ciaran Lyng penalty was followed by a Cavan own goal as Wexford took a 3-2 to 0-3 lead.
Cavan hit five scores without reply before the break at Wexford Park to cut the Model County's lead to two points.
Wexford's Daithi Waters was sent-off but keeper Anthony Masterson saved the penalty and while Gerard McKiernan did hit a Cavan goal, Bradley's second three-pointer clinched the home win.
Jason Ryan's side made a fast start to the game and were 1-2 to 0-1 ahead when Bradley rattled the net on 13 minutes.
Ciarán Lyng then added a second from the penalty spot and the Models were 3-2 to 0-4 up inside 22 minutes following the own goal.
However, the Breffni men rallied with five points in a row to cut the gap to 3-2 to 0-9 at the break.
Cavan were thrown a lifeline when Waters was sent off for a second yellow card offence but Wexford goalkeeper Masterson pulled off a fine save from the ensuing penalty.
McKiernan then did rattle the Wexford net to cut the margin to the minimum but that was soon cancelled out when Bradley scored his second goal and Wexford's fourth with 10 minutes left.
