Dromid Pearses have been handed a three-year ban after violent clashes in the All-Ireland junior club semi-final against Tyrone team Derrytresk.

The Kerry club is banned from all provincial and All-Ireland club ties.

Donal O'Sullivan is banned for three months with Denis O'Sullivan suspended for eight weeks and Colin O'Connor banned for four weeks.

Derrytresk are appealing against their five-year suspension from Ulster and All-Ireland competitions.

The Tyrone side won the game and avoided expulsion from the final, in which they lost by a point to Clonbur.

Seven Derrytresk players missed the Croke Park decider because of individual bans issued as a result of the fighting in the Portlaoise semi-final.

Derrytresk's initial fine of 5,000 euro was reduced to 2,500 euro while Dromid Pearses were fined 2,000 euro.

Pearses have yet to decider if they will appeal against the three-year club ban.
