UUJ's hopes of Sigerson Cup glory were extinguished as they were beaten 0-17 to 1-5 by DCU in Friday's second semi-final in Galway.
Anton McArdle's goal helped UUJ lead 1-3 to 0-5 at half-time but the Dublin side - helped by Michael Murphy's introduction - dominated thereafter.
NUI Maynooth defeated holders UCC 2-11 to 2-8 in Friday's opening semi-final in the NUI Galway-hosted weekend.
The final will take place at the Galway venue on Saturday afternoon.
DCU led by 0-2 to 0-0 after three minutes thanks to points from Dublin duo Paul Flynn and Dean Rock, but an 11th-minute goal from Anton McArdle saw Jordanstown take the lead.
Adrian McGuckin's charges further extended their advantage thanks to a Diarmuid McNulty score but DCU hit back with Flynn and Rock on target.
However, a brace of Ciaran McGinley points enabled Jordanstown to lead 1-3 to 0-5 at the interval.
DCU firmly outclassed UUJ with a point-scoring exhibition on the restart with the Poly outscored by 0-12 to 0-2 in the closing 30 minutes.
UUJ's second half scores both came from the boot of Peter Hughes in the 34th and 42nd minutes.
Hughes second score tied the game at 1-5 to 0-8 but DCU kicked on with Rock, Colm Begley, Philip McMahon, Neil Collins, David Kelly and Murphy all claiming scores.
