Derry have suffered a major blow with the news that Gerard O'Kane has been ruled out of the remainder of their Football League campaign by injury.
The Glenullin clubman sustained a knee injury in training at Owenbeg on Tuesday night.
Oak Leaf manager John Brennan must now plan without O'Kane for the county's remaining four Division Two games.
Derry have beaten Monaghan, but lost to Galway and Tyrone, in their opening games of the series.
They face Kildare on Sunday, followed by fixtures against Meath, Louth and Westmeath.
